Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
  • 7+ years clinical research experience, including 4+ years in clinical project management.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial conduct, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and global drug development processes.
  • Experience managing small to medium, full-service, multi-country and/or multi-regional clinical studies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and scope changes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated study management plans with cross-functional teams.

  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Monitor progress and report study status, metrics, and updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs and study requirements.
  • Support business development, including proposal development and bid defense presentations.
  • Oversee project financial performance including forecasting, budgeting and scope changes.
  • Mentor and develop team members and promote cross-region collaboration.
  • Share lessons learned and promote best practices.

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Project Manager or Clinical Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of clinical trials that help bring innovative therapies to patients faster. This role is designed for established project leaders who can combine operational excellence, strategic thinking, and strong client partnership skills to lead complex clinical studies from start-up through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of global and multi-regional clinical studies from startup through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement integrated study management plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive study delivery while optimizing timelines, quality, and budget performance.
  • Provide strategic leadership for project teams, setting objectives and ensuring accountability for key milestones.

Qualifications

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $68,400.00 - $232,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
