Job summary

Supernus Pharmaceuticals, a leading biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Senior Clinical Operations Lead to drive leadership, direction and execution of protocols within Clinical Operations. You will plan and oversee trials, vendor management, budgets, and regulatory compliance while contributing to product profiling and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualified candidates will have a BS/BA in a biomedical field with 6+ years' experience (or MS with 5+; PhD/MD/PharmD/DVM with 3+), plus strong

• Leadership, clinical project management and administrative capabilities are required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Direct experience in clinical pharmacology/experimental medicine research is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement clinical trials for assigned programs.
• Oversee vendor selection, RFPs, budgets, contracts, and timelines.
• Forecast study budgets and collaborate with finance.
• Serve as Clinical Operations Lead in project team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with protocol and GCPs/regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to Target Product Profile development for studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations and research.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to adopt best practices.
• Engage in resource planning and capacity analysis across programs.
• Review and implement SOPs across the department.
