Job summary
Medica is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to advance pharmacy strategy, utilization management, and clinical programs within a collaborative, data-driven environment. You will analyze pharmacy spend, identify opportunities, and partner with PBMs and providers to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
The role requires a PharmD or equivalent, a current pharmacist license, and 7+ years of related experience. It is an onsite office role with the option for proximity to Minnetonka, MN offices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
- PharmD preferred or equivalent experience in related field.
- 7+ years of related pharmacy experience beyond degree.
- Active Pharmacist license required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pharmacy utilization, spend, and trend performance.
- Partner with Analytics and business stakeholders to conduct spend and trend analysis.
- Develop evidence-based strategies to mitigate adverse pharmacy trends and improve outcomes.
- Serve as a clinical pharmacy subject matter expert to internal partners.
- Oversee regulatory, compliance activities, reporting and audits.
- Collaborate with PBM partners, vendors, and providers to support operations.
- Support formulary execution and monitoring with PBMs.
- Identify and communicate performance opportunities across the organization.
