Job summary
Inova Health System in Virginia is seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacist - CMM to join our ambulatory care team. This full-time role supports medication management, provides clinical consultation, and participates in formulary decisions across the system.

Qualifications
- PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
- At least 5 years of clinical pharmacist experience.
- Licensed pharmacist in VA.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Interprets, prepares, and verifies medication orders.
- Provides clinical consultation and cost-effective alternatives.
- Manages DEA/VA Board compliance for controlled substances.
- Participates in formulary review and approval.
- Monitors drug therapies for interactions and safety.
- Reports adverse drug reactions promptly.
- Precepts learners and mentors students.
- Leads grant work and educational activities.
- Lectures for residents and professionals as needed.
- Contributes to committees advancing pharmacy practice.
