Job summary

Prime Therapeutics seeks a Commercial Senior Technician in Indianapolis to process complex formulary exceptions, prior authorizations, and brand overrides within delegated utilization management. This role serves as a technical resource across client-specific processes and supports complex case research.

The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2 years pharmacy or health care delivery experience required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem solving essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for internal reviewers with guidance and case inquiry support.
• Respond to escalated calls, coordinating information for approvals or denials.
• Review clinical criteria and update prior authorizations and denials in UM systems.
• Monitor inboxes and queues to meet client turnaround times across teams.
• Conduct outreach to pharmacies and physician offices for UM information.
• Provide clinical information to pharmacists and physicians for decision making.
• Other duties as assigned.
