Job summary

Cognitive Research Corporation seeks a Manager of Clinical Operations to lead and mentor a team of Clinical Research Associates, ensuring compliant conduct of trials and adherence to GCPs, ICH, and SOPs. You will collaborate with PMs/CTMs, manage resources, and support sponsor interactions to meet project goals.

The role requires a BS/BA and 5+ years as a CRA, with experience in CRO or pharmaceutical settings and a strong regulatory understanding. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Clinical Research Associate.
• Experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical industry, or hospital setting preferable.
• Understanding of clinical research regulatory requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, mentor, and develop assigned team.
• Anticipate and remediate resourcing issues, oversee workloads.
• Work with PMs and CTMs to ensure resources are allocated per study/project.
• Liaise with PMs/CTMs to meet deliverables and hours, escalate as needed.
• Support Sponsors with team selection for programs and performance issues.
• Oversee direct reports, conduct annual reviews, and handle employee relations.
• Review and approve timesheets and expense reports as needed.
• Conduct regular meetings and maintain one-on-one communications.
• Identify training needs and implement staff training.
• Stay current on developments in clinical research.
• Assist with strategy development in assigned areas.
