Job summary

This role mentors teams, partners with physicians and administrators, and translates clinical and operational needs into scalable data solutions, enabling data-driven decisions across the health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer engineering, or data science.
• 3-5 years experience in business/data analytics, healthcare analytics, healthcare quality, clinical and operations decision support or related field.
• 1 - 2 years in a lead/senior role.
• Working knowledge of back-end databases, spreadsheets, word processing, statistical software, analytical models, data science principles and application, and data visualization programs (e.g., Tableau, Qlikview, Qliksense, Power BI).
• Expert knowledge in Python, R, and/or SQL software programming
• Ability to manage, analyze, and derive clinical and operational insights from health system information technologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including developing relationships, interpersonal skills, and ability to lead process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and optimization of management tools based on business and clinical requirements to improve value aligning with organizational goals.
• Develop analytics solutions to provide reliable insights and guide improvements for clinical operations.
• Build collaborative relationships with physicians and leaders to translate requirements into actionable insights.
• Mentor and review team deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs and alignment with priorities.
• Lead cost modeling, ROI calculations, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee governance of reporting frameworks and executive presentations, ensuring data quality and scalability.
