Qualifications

• Masters of Nursing Degree as APRN-CNS.
• 2 years RN experience preferred.
• 1 year APRN-CNS experience in the relevant setting preferred.
• National CNS certification required.
• Current Illinois APRN and RN licenses.

Responsibilities

• Completes and documents accurate comprehensive histories and physicals.
• Orders, conducts, and interprets diagnostic studies.
• Prescribes treatments and therapies per patient needs.
• Implements prevention strategies for acute and chronic issues.
• Documents care clearly in the medical record.
• Develops care plans in collaboration with the patient and team.
• Meets productivity and billing expectations.
• Provides education to patients and families.
• Leads interdisciplinary teams to improve care delivery.
• Participates in evidence-based practice and policy updates.
