Qualifications

  • 4 years healthcare experience required.

  • Clinical licensure required (RN, LVN, PT, OT, SLP). Must maintain valid driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts proper pre-admission patient evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Maintains assigned sales territory.
  • Develops, implements, evaluates, and refines territory sales plans based upon data, trends, market needs, and facility needs.
  • Coordinates marketing and public relations activities such as conferences, exhibits, seminars, in-services, advertising, and media relations.
  • Tracks sales activity, maintains client profiles, and ensures compliance with company standards.
  • Provides training for Clinical Liaison staff and best practices in customer service.
  • Provides sales reports and analytics as needed.
  • Participates in program development initiatives as assigned.
  • Fosters a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Job description

The Senior Clinical Liaison is responsible for evaluating patients and determining if s/he meets admissions criteria, prepares development plans, conducts calls, and presents to potential referral sources. The position also acts as a mentor and provides training to the Liaison staff. This position must integrate company values into daily practice.

Essential Functions:
  • Conducts proper pre-admission patient evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Maintains assigned sales territory.
  • Develops, implements, evaluates, and refines territory sales plans based upon data, trends, market needs, and facility needs.
  • Coordinates specific marketing and public relations activities such as conferences exhibits, seminars/in-services, advertising, media relations, government relations, etc. as assigned.
  • Effectively tracks sales activity, maintain client profiles, and ensure compliance with company’s standards.
  • Provides appropriate training for Clinical Liaison staff, including best practices and customer service.
  • Provides sales reports and analytics as needed.
  • Participates in program development initiatives as assigned.
  • Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions.
  • Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
  • Completes required trainings, as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Minimum Education & Experience: 4 years healthcare experience required. 2 years sales experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation: Clinical licensure required (RN, LVN, PT, OT, SLP preferred). Must maintain valid, acceptable driving record, current driver's license, and insurability.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures. Demonstrates an understanding of patient mix, regulatory requirements, reimbursement, etc. that impact overall hospital operations. Demonstrates the highest degree of customer service and professionalism. Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.
Physical Requirements
  • Over the Course of a Shift: A significant amount of standing, walking, and driving.
  • Lifting/exerting of up to 25 lbs.
  • Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to hear overhead pages.
