As a Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist, you will serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert within the lab. Primary duties include:

*Investigating and developing new or modified test procedures while reviewing and refining existing protocols.

*Overseeing quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities.

*Identifying staff training needs and assessing the competency of testing personnel.

*Writing and maintaining SOPs and developing training materials.

Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour

Qualifications

*Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.

*Bachelor's degree.

*Minimum of 4 years of licensed CLS experience.

*Strong knowledge and experience in Urinalysis.

*Proficiency in evaluating Gram stains.

*Experience with procedure and report writing.

*Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

*Demonstrated experience in validation, testing, and troubleshooting.

*Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
