Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Informatics Professional to advance research data initiatives. You will design and develop fit-for-purpose data sets and analytic solutions, translating clinical and business questions into actionable insights.

Collaborate with physicians, researchers, and IT to implement real-time analytics, data governance, and interoperability efforts; experience with EHR data (EPIC/Cerner) and healthcare vocabularies is valued.

Qualifications

Requires 5 years in a clinical care setting.
3 years hands-on experience with EHR systems (EPIC, Cerner, Allscripts).
Preferred 3 years in clinical workflow and data used to support decisions.
3 years in data analysis, BI or reporting.

Responsibilities

Combine knowledge of healthcare and clinical settings to deliver value through analytics.
Provide SME on clinical vocabularies and code sets.
Support interoperability efforts across the enterprise.
Design, build and deploy analytic data solutions including real-time analytics and NLP/AI/ML.
Translate data needs between physicians and research staff and assist in interpretation of analytic findings.
Train users and support data governance efforts.
