Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a data-driven analytics leader to design, execute and disseminate clinical and population health analyses. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights: improving health outcomes and reducing costs.

The role requires extensive experience with healthcare data, analytics techniques, and communicating findings to executives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of leading the design, execution and dissemination of clinical and population health reporting, analyses and studies of progressive scope and complexity
• 5 years with coding languages, analytical software, systems, tools and processes using claims, clinical, enrollment and provider data
• 3 years of project leadership in a complex, matrixed environment (payer and/or provider preferred)
• 3 years of providing analytical consultation to clinical, administrative, operational and financial stakeholders
• Preference will be given to individuals with a strong health care/insurance analytics background
• R, SQL, or BigQuery/GCP experience strongly preferred
• R-Shiny, Tableau, or PowerBi experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports and leads the design, development, execution, dissemination and interpretation of clinical and population health analyses, metrics and reports using data to identify opportunities for improving health and costs
• Establishes strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure analytics are actionable and aligned with priorities
• Serves as a strategic business partner providing thought leadership and SME
• Provides mentorship to colleagues across the enterprise
• Other duties as assigned or requested
