Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr Principal Clinical Engineer to define end-to-end surgical procedural workflows across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care. The role collaborates with R&D, clinical, regulatory, and operations to translate clinical needs into design requirements.

The candidate will have 8+ years in medical devices/orthopaedics, strong communication, and tool proficiency; travel to R&D sites is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences, clinical discipline, health care administration, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in medical device/orthopaedics product development or related health care technology.
• Proficiency with design tools and visualization software listed above.

Responsabilidades

• Define and design end-to-end integrated procedural workflows for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
• Translate needs into procedural requirements, user needs, use scenarios, and development guidance.
• Map current and future workflows to identify unmet needs and adoption barriers.
• Partner with R&D, clinical, regulatory, quality, marketing, and external stakeholders to align priorities.
• Evaluate concepts for usability, clinical relevance, and end-user value to guide development tradeoffs.
• Translate procedural needs into actionable requirements and recommendations.
