Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. seeks a Clinical Educator to provide clinical guidance, supervision and leadership to Expanded Scope and Critical Care personnel, aligning with Critical Care leadership.

The role focuses on education program development, competency assessment, and maintaining high clinical standards across the department. You will mentor staff, coordinate training, lead ACLS/PALS/NRP certification efforts, evaluate equipment, and contribute to Quality and Safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current license as Paramedic or Registered Nurse.
• 1 year critical care transport experience.
• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Board Certification in a critical care specialty (FP-C, CCP-C, CFRN, or CTRN) within one year is encouraged.
• Instructor for ACLS, PALS, and/or Trauma Certification Courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support Expanded Scope/CCT personnel.
• Direct orientation of new Expanded Scope/CCT personnel.
• Provide competency assessment and ongoing training of Expanded Scope/CCT personnel.
• Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Coordinate certification classes ACLS, PALS, NRP etc.
• Participate in Quality and Safety Management programs and data collection.

Education

Paramedic license

Registered Nurse license

Associates/Bachelor’s Degree

Board Certification in critical care (FP-C/CCP-C/CFRN/CTRN)

Instructor for ACLS, PALS, and Trauma Certification

Leadership experience (FTO/PIC/Preceptor)
