Job summary

Gilead Sciences in Foster City seeks an MD with 4+ years of clinical or drug development experience to lead multiple components of ongoing inflammation/fibrosis programs, including PBC and MASH. You may serve as Physician Responsible on selected projects and will contribute to study protocols, data analysis plans, and regulatory submissions.

The role includes medical monitoring, safety assessments, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality clinical development

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with 4+ years’ clinical, scientific and/or drug development experience in biopharma or related settings.
• Experience leading cross‑functional project teams in life sciences or healthcare.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and clinical trial conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into clinical development plans and trial protocols.
• Oversees medical monitoring for trials including eligibility, toxicity, and safety surveillance.
• Coordinates data listings, study results, and scientific presentations.
• Ensures compliance with Good Clinical Practice and regulatory standards.
• Travels as needed to support projects.
