Job summary

Emmes Group is seeking a Principal Clinical Data Manager to lead data management activities across studies from design through final analysis and closeout. You will ensure data completeness and accuracy in the electronic database, acting as an expert consultant to cross-functional internal and external teams on data collection and DM best practices.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with clinical teams, with oversight of DM processes and data validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in scientific discipline required.
• 7–9 years data management experience required.
• 4–6 years MS in scientific discipline with basic clinical development knowledge preferred.
• 7–9 years data management processes with 6 years progressive clinical research experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, adaptive designs, survival analysis, and other advanced methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead data management design and implementation for studies in an EDC system.
• Oversee creation/review of CRFs and study documents.
• Determine data collection requirements at project/therapeutic area level.
• Analyze complex data management issues and implement solutions.
• Review and approve data management plans and templates.
• Lead data reviews and develop corrective action plans.
• Provide DM staff mentorship and training oversight.
• Draft summaries of data reports and present findings.
