Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Principal Trial Manager to lead the clinical data management strategy across one or more drug trials. You will mentor teams, act as SME on data management and project leadership, and collaborate with QA/compliance to drive end-to-end trial excellence.

The role emphasizes improving data collection processes, supporting audits, and guiding cross-functional initiatives to ensure quality and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Clinical Data Management or related field with 3+ years using formal PM tools/processes.
• Bachelor-level degree in life sciences or related discipline.
• Experience leading data management projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead special data management projects within GDMS.
• Act as SME and mentor on data management, PM, and leadership.
• Support Training & Development programs for Trial Manager proficiency.
• Collaborate with process owners to implement SME input.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent database standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to data collection and data/project management processes.
• Support audits and inspections.
• Lead complex risk management for functional and cross-functional projects.
• Perform all activities outlined in the Trial Manager job description.
