Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Associate to support global trials from South Africa in a remote capacity.

You will ensure data quality, manage EDC systems, coordinate with CROs and study teams, and drive study deliverables across phases I–IV, contributing to regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.

The role offers exposure to data management processes, study documentation, and collaboration with statisticians, programmers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare field.
• Minimum five years of data management experience in pharma/biotech.
• Understanding of Phase I-IV studies and vendor work.
• Knowledge of ICH/FDA guidance, CDISC, 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience with Electronic Data Capture systems; RAVE preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small clinical study or co-lead larger studies.
• Coordinate data management activities with CROs.
• Review study protocols and eCRF design.
• Develop data management plans and documentation.
• Support database upgrades and study deliverables.
• Ensure inspection readiness and data quality.
