Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. in the United States is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Clinical Contracts to support review, negotiation, and execution of clinical-related agreements across multiple departments.

This role partners with clinical, quality, medical affairs, finance, R&D, HR, IT and other internal clients to draft and negotiate contracts that protect the company and advance its programs. You will draft templates, manage in-flight agreements, liaise with IP, Regulatory, Compliance, and QA

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, admitted to a US state bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 5+ years of major law firm and/or in-house experience with a pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare company.
• Precise drafting and strong legal analysis skills with knowledge of pharma regs and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to address key legal issues for business teams.
• Draft, review, analyze and negotiate clinical contracts including CTAs and related agreements.
• Liaise between internal units and external parties to address contractual matters efficiently and promptly.
