Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years continuous experience as a Clinical Coder.
• Experience in mentoring junior coders and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and abstract complex patient clinical records.
• Apply clinical coding rules and conventions.
• Input clinical coded data onto PAS for inpatient, day case, and outpatient attendances.
• Monitor completeness and timeliness of coding reporting; raise issues to management.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and lead local coding policy development.
