And, with our outstanding work environment and our focus on people as one of our critical success factors, we are very committed to you, your career, and your success.

This position serves as the primary liaison between clinical operations, frontline care teams, and Information Technology. Partners with clinicians, clinical leaders, operations teams, project managers, developers, vendors, and analytics teams to assess current-state workflows, define requirements, support solution design and testing, and facilitate successful implementation and adoption of clinical systems and digital capabilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze and document current-state clinical workflows, including handoffs, documentation, scheduling, communication, and supporting processes.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and translate findings into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, workflow diagrams, and use cases.
  • Identify workflow variation, inefficiencies, patient-safety risks, data-quality issues, and opportunities for standardization or automation.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and confirm requirements are clinically appropriate, feasible, understood, and approved by accountable stakeholders.
Clinical Solution Design and Process Improvement
  • Evaluate clinical and operational processes and recommend technology-enabled improvements that promote safe, efficient, standardized care while reducing unnecessary work and disruption.
  • Partner with solution architects, developers, vendors, and clinical subject-matter experts to design workflows and system capabilities aligned with clinical practice and organizational standards.
  • Assess the clinical, operational, regulatory, data, and downstream impacts of proposed solutions and process changes.
  • Support workflow redesign, clinical content and configuration decisions, integration planning, and change management.
Project Delivery and Governance
  • Collaborate with project, product, development, quality assurance, analytics, integration, and vendor teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support prioritization by clarifying clinical value, urgency, dependencies, risks, and expected outcomes.
  • Participate in design, configuration, and governance reviews to confirm alignment with approved clinical and operational requirements.
  • Manage requirement changes and document decisions, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and unresolved issues in support of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid governance processes.
Clinical Testing, Implementation, and Adoption
  • Develop clinically relevant test scenarios, scripts, expected results, and acceptance criteria based on real-world workflows and patient-care use cases.

  • Validate that solutions meet approved requirements, usability expectations, quality standards, and patient-safety considerations.
  • Support readiness, training, communications, deployment, go-live, and stabilization; monitor adoption, performance, defects, and unintended consequences and recommend corrective actions.
Clinical Stakeholder Partnership and Communication
  • Serve as a trusted liaison and build effective relationships among clinical, operational, quality, compliance, patient safety, analytics, and IT stakeholders.
  • Communicate requirements, decisions, status, risks, dependencies, and workflow impacts for clinical, operational, technical, and executive audiences.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and elevate decisions when clinical safety, compliance, scope, schedule, or expected benefits may be affected.
Clinical Data, Analytics, and Reporting
  • Define clinical, operational, quality, dashboard, KPI, data-definition, and reporting requirements with analytics and data teams.
  • Assess source data, workflow capture, data lineage, validation needs, and data-quality issues that may affect decision-making or patient care.
