Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a Senior Clinical Applications Systems Analyst Epic to independently define objectives and lead clinical IT projects. You will develop or modify IT procedures to solve complex healthcare problems, considering capacity and system constraints.

Qualifications

• EPIC Certification/Accreditation is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of clinical application support or Healthcare IT.
• Associate's degree with 7+ years of clinical application support or Healthcare IT.
• No degree with 9+ years of clinical application support or Healthcare IT.

Responsibilities

• Define system objectives, requirements, scope and impact for clinical operations.
• Lead as assigned by leadership and provide guidance to junior analysts.
• Analyze and revise existing system logic; document outcomes and solutions.
• Act as liaison with technology vendors, physicians and clinical leaders.

The Senior Clinical Applications Systems Analyst Epic independently defines system objectives, requirements, scope, and impact based on needs of clinical operations. Develops or modifies clinical information technology procedures to solve complex healthcare problems, considers computer equipment capacity, and current system or network limitations. Analyzes and revises existing system logic and documents outcomes. Competent to work independently at all phases of clinical applications systems analysis and development. Studies clinical information technology systems’ needs, investigates solutions, and presents recommendations to leadership and/or operational stakeholders. Responsible for being team lead as assigned by leadership. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analysts. Responsible for quality assurance review, issue mitigation, and resolution. This employee serves as a liaison for technology system vendors, physicians, and other clinical operations leaders.
