Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a licensed clinical professional to lead admissions for teens in crisis within PHP and IOP. You will conduct clinical intake assessments, determine level of care, guide families, and collaborate with treatment teams to ensure appropriate placement and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active California clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC).
• Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, level of care evaluations, suicide risk assessments, and safety planning.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across admissions, clinical, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intake assessments, level of care evaluations, suicide risk assessments, and safety planning for prospective clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and families, guiding them through treatment recommendations, program options, tours, and the admissions process.
• Partner with admissions, clinical, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition into care.
• Build trust with clients and families while navigating sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide clinical support as needed, including group facilitation and participation in team meetings.
• Lead admissions growth by monitoring census goals and identifying improvement opportunities.
