Job summary

Cherry Bekaert seeks a detail‑oriented Client Support Liaison to join the Core Tax team. You will coordinate documents, support technology tools, and maintain timely tax work delivery. You will also help with billing, reporting, and data management, partnering with Partners and Managers to streamline processes.

You bring at least 5 years in client service, strong Excel/VLOOKUP skills, and a proactive, reliable approach. A High School Diploma is required, and prior tax firm exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years in a client service‑driven environment; administrative experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
• Strong communication, organization, and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
• Tax firm experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients on non-technical matters and coordinate documents.
• Assist clients with Suralink, TaxCaddy, and SafeSend and troubleshoot access issues.
• Support Partners and Managers by rolling Axcess Tax Returns and preparing engagement binders.
• Manage billing processes, WIP reports, and due date reporting.
• Publish finalized returns to Suralink or TaxCaddy and resolve schema errors or e-file rejections.
• Identify bottlenecks and gather financials for estimates in collaboration with Partners.
