Your mission as a (Senior) Client Relations Manager (Finance & Insurance) - DACH (m/f/d)

Appinio is looking for a highly driven and passionate(Senior) Client Relations Manager (Finance & Insurance) - DACH to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with companies in the finance sector, including banks, insurances, fintechs, and VCs/PEs. You will showcase the potential of Appinio's capabilities and develop a mutually beneficial commercial framework with finance stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will represent Appinio to marketing and insights decision-makers within the finance & insurance vertical
  • You will acquire new customers, identify their needs, and offer expert guidance on Appinio's agile Services and SaaS solutions
  • You will scope and qualify client requirements for both new and existing projects
  • You will act as the voice of our finance & insurance customers, staying attuned to their pain points, competition, and growth prospects
  • You will build and maintain a robust professional network
  • You will create partnership opportunities with finance & insurance customers to further strengthen Appinio’s positioning as a research partner.
  • You will represent Appinio at Trade Fairs and Public Speaking events, expand your network, and leverage existing contacts to drive our business
  • You will work closely with our Customer Success and Marketing Team to maximise growth opportunities

You will thrive in this role if

  • You have experience and a network within the finance & insurance industry, coupled with a strong customer-centric mindset
  • You understand how organisations in this sector operate (purchasing process, negotiation tactics, vendor listing etc.)
  • You have experience in B2B sales
  • You are native in German and fluent in English
  • You have proficiency in working with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Hubspot
  • You have an empathetic nature with a keen sense for understanding the needs of others
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and consider yourself a problem-solver
  • You are based in Germany (ideally in Hamburg)
