Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a senior client analytics and decision support consultant to partner with customers and internal teams. You will prioritize data requirements, deliver analytics for financial and clinical value, and support product design optimization.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, leading development of decision-support solutions, and presenting findings to executives and partners. Strong DB and programming skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed in education
• 5 years of relevant, progressive experience as a Decision Support Analyst or equivalent
• Preferred: 7–10 years’ experience in independent analytics and consultative deliverables

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster internal relationships across the corporation and provide analytic support
• Mentor colleagues on technical and business aspects of projects
• Lead in translating requirements into decision support and reporting solutions
• Define issues and approaches for studies, create new methods of analysis and data design
• Model data sources and flows, define operational frameworks and security policies
• Interpret data, identify actions, and prepare reports or presentations for stakeholders
• Develop complex programs using 4GL languages (SAS, R, SQL) and DB2/Teradata/Oracle
• Perform other duties as assigned
