Job summary

Benay Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Client Accounting Manager to own a portfolio of clients and be a trusted member of both the Benay team and our clients’ teams.

This role is not simply data-entry bookkeeping; you will apply accounting knowledge to oversee accurate ledgers, perform reconciliations, and deliver timely financial information. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients, prepare monthly financial statements, supervise receivables

Qualifications

• Demonstrated bookkeeping/accounting experience required
• QuickBooks Online experience required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Serve as primary contact for clients and build professional relationships
• Manage cash transactions and general ledger activity
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues with clients
