JHM Certified Public Accountants in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Senior Client Accountant for an in-person role. You will join a family-oriented office and receive mentorship from senior team members while handling client accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of public accounting experience, CPA-eligibility preferred, and strong Excel/Word skills, with excellent written and verbal communication. A hands-on, organized professional will thrive in this setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA eligible preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong accounting skills required.
• Microsoft Excel and Word skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of accounting principles to complete assignments with normal supervision.
• Maintains and updates accounting records and files.
• Conducts month-end and year-end closures.
• Prepares documents for audits and/or tax.
• Communicates professionally and promptly to clients.
