Job summary

Broadcom Inc. Fort Collins is seeking an Installation Technician to install semiconductor equipment and related infrastructure in active cleanrooms.

HVAC, ducting, and sheet metal experience are preferred, with flexibility for candidates from pipefitting, electrical, or mechanical trades. You will read blueprints, coordinate with SCT team members and vendors, plan pre-task steps, ensure safety and cleanliness, and maintain inventory to support on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Trade background in HVAC, sheet metal, and ducting.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant mechanical, industrial, or trade experience.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics.
• Cleanroom experience is a strong plus.
• Certifications or licenses are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, lay out, and install HVAC ductwork and exhaust systems.
• Safely install semiconductor equipment per specs.
• Collaborate with System Owners to design exhaust installations.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain inventory.
• Prepare detailed pre-task plans and follow cleanroom safety.
• Work with SCT team and contractors to meet schedule.
• Troubleshoot installation issues promptly.
