Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Toter Driver in Bonham, TX. The role involves transporting oversized loads, ensuring proper paperwork, and maintaining professional vehicle standards on the job.

You will operate equipment, verify permits, and deliver to retail locations while upholding DOT regulations. Applicants must meet FMCSR Part 391.41, possess a DOT medical card, and demonstrate proficiency in English for safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must meet FMCSR Part 391.41 and CMH Transport guidelines.
• Must hold a valid DOT medical card.
• Must meet DOT vision and hearing standards.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Must be able to climb in/out of tractors and inspect equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport oversized loads within the region.
• Operate and maintain equipment including daily maintenance checks and electronic logs.
• Coordinate daily permits and load selection with supervisors and escort drivers.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of oversized loads to appointed retail locations.
• Provide accurate delivery paperwork and ensure a world-class customer experience.
