Beazley Management Limited seeks an experienced Claims Manager for Small Business to lead end-to-end claims handling in the US (excluding NYC). You will assess coverage, set reserves, and work closely with brokers, insureds, and underwriting partners to deliver fair, timely resolutions. Ideal candidates have 3+ years’ liability claims experience, analytical skills, and the ability to influence outcomes.

A college degree is required; a J.D. is a plus.

Formación

• College degree; J.D. preferred but not required.
• Three or more years’ experience handling commercial liability insurance claims.
• Adjuster license(s) may be required; obtain within 90 days if required.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of Small Business claims.
• Handle claims from first notice through resolution; assess severity and direct involvement.
• Evaluate coverage, draft coverage letters, and communicate determinations to brokers and insureds.
• Manage medium to high severity claims including Category 1/2 with oversight as needed.
• Maintain timely claims records and reserve adequacy.
• Collaborate with Reinsurance, underwriters, and clients to optimize outcomes.
