Job summary

J2 Building Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Claims Associate II to independently lead investigations into building envelope failures, conduct complex analysis, and support claims and litigation from start to finish.

You will deliver expert opinions and mentor junior staff while working with attorneys, carriers, and clients. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in contracting or insurance claims analysis, testify as an expert witness in 10+ matters, and hold advanced knowledge of building science and

Qualifications

7+ years of experience specifically in contracting or insurance related claims analysis.
Experience testifying as an expert witness or providing litigation support in 10 or more matters.
Advanced knowledge of building science, construction methods, and failure analysis.
Exceptional technical writing and communication skills, including presenting to executives, clients, and legal parties.
Ability to independently investigate, conclude, and defend findings.

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Investigations and provide expert opinions on conditions and repair strategies.
Own Claims & Litigation Support with expert reports and depositions.
Lead Technical Standards & Mentorship for junior staff and QC reviews.
Own Client Relationships and present findings professionally to clients.
Drive Business Growth through proposals and new opportunities.
