Aspire General Insurance is seeking a Sr. Claims Data Analyst to transform complex claims data into actionable dashboards and insights. You will bridge the gap between Claims Operations and IT, developing SQL queries and Power BI reports to support strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business leaders, independent data work, and leveraging AI-assisted analytics to drive performance. This is a full-time position in a hybrid environment within IT.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, BI, or Analytics role.
• Strong SQL (T-SQL) experience with complex queries and stored procedures.
• Advanced Power BI experience including dashboards and DAX.
• Ability to handle large, complex datasets independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting and decision-making.
• Design, build, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports using Fabric and DirectLake.
• Support operational dashboards for claims performance and related reporting.
• Perform trend analysis, forecasting, and exploratory analytics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze claims data to identify leakage, anomalies, fraud indicators, and inefficiencies.
• Develop performance scorecards and workforce productivity reporting.
• Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate severity, reserve activity, and effectiveness.
• Translate business questions into reporting and insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering to ensure data integrity and reporting reliability.
• Evaluate AI-assisted analytics solutions to improve outcomes and governance.
