Job summary

The Hartford in the United States is seeking a Senior Performance Analytics Consultant to transform complex claims data into actionable insights, develop reporting and self-service analytics, and support leaders in making confident business decisions.

You will partner with Claims, Product, Actuarial, Operations, Data Science, and Transformation teams to define KPIs, build dashboards and scorecards, validate analyses, and present findings with clear data storytelling to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; data analytics or BI experience beneficial.
• Experience in claims or insurance is preferred.
• Ability to extract, clean, integrate, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Strong reporting and KPI design skills; able to visualize and explain metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Claims Solutions results to identify trends and opportunities across performance areas.
• Define KPIs with leaders and translate needs into analytics requirements.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reports for performance management.
• Use hypothesis-driven analysis and statistical methods to evaluate trends and support recommendations.
• Present findings clearly to non-technical and executive audiences and drive action.
• Collaborate with data engineering to improve data quality and repeatability of reporting.
