Gulf Companies is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in Houston, TX. The role involves leading the civil/structural discipline on small-to-mid projects, guiding junior staff, and delivering design calculations and site plans.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience, proficiency with ACI/IBC/AISC standards, and experience with RISA 3D, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, and LPile. EIT/PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically, 5 - 10 years of experience in engineering.
• In depth knowledge of industry standards (ACI, IBC, AISC, ANSI) and ability to apply to civil/structural designs.
• Knowledge of design/analysis programs: RISA 3D, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, LPile.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Civil/Structural engineering on projects with minimal supervision.
• Prepare/review requisitions and technical bids for materials and subcontracts.
• Develop/review site plans, grading, and foundation details.
• Prepare civil/structural calculations for project design.
• Coordinate with client personnel on Civil/Structural activities.
