Job summary

Keystone Engineering Inc. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Sulphur, LA team. The role focuses on applying civil/structural principles to project work, performing calculations, and coordinating with drafting and vendors.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience, a P.E. license, and strong written/spoken communication. Occasional site visits are required and applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Applies engineering principles with direction from his/her supervisor.
• Interfaces with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors.
• Interfaces with Drafting to provide any required information and review Drafting’s work.
• Prepares specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements with direction from his/her supervisor.
• Assists in assembling all project information into the project files.
• Participates in site visits with more experienced engineers and/or designers.
