Keystone Engineering is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Houston team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Houston, TX

Physical Demands: Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasionally site visits required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Applies engineering principles with direction from his/her supervisor.
• Interfaces with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors.
• Interfaces with Drafting to provide any required information and review Drafting’s work.
• Prepares specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements with direction from his/her supervisor.
• Assists in assembling all project information into the project files.
• Participates in site visits with more experienced engineers and/or designers.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5-10 years of experience.
• P.E. License.
• Eager to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution-oriented advocate.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred

• Previous experience in the oil & gas industry with reference to midstream facility work.
• Background in foundation design for equipment, structural supports, and related components.
• Background in structural steel design for supports, modular pipe racks, and comparable systems.
