Job summary

EnTechEngineering, PC in New York City is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to support transportation infrastructure projects. You will lead planning and design services, assess sites, and prepare technical documentation while guiding project teams through multiple phases.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering background, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
NY State PE license preferred.
10+ years of civil engineering design experience.
Experience with NY metropolitan area municipal clients is a plus.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other industry-standard design software.
Strong technical writing, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee civil planning and design services for transportation infrastructure projects.
Evaluate site conditions and review documents to identify design constraints.
Develop conceptual design solutions including reinforcement needs and integration of new components.
Perform engineering analyses and calculations to support decisions.
Lead preparation and review of design reports, cost estimates, specs, cross sections, and drawings updates.
Provide ongoing engineering support during construction and coordinate with contractors.
