Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a senior structural engineer for federal construction projects. You will act as a technical expert for civil/structural systems, review designs for constructability, and assist with contract modifications and government estimates. Expect steel/welding inspections and QA oversight on complex programs.

Candidates should have a PE license in Alaska and 10+ years’ experience, including NDI, RF shielding, and ICD 705 requirements. AISC certification knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with PE license in Alaska.
• 10+ years as a structural engineer on large federal projects.
• Experience with NDI, AISC standards, RF shield and ICD 705.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for civil/structural systems on federal construction.
• Review plans for constructability, compliance and clarity in contracts.
• Prepare scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates.
• Assist with steel and welding inspections, QA and contract admin.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, payment estimates and progress reporting.
