Job summary

Keystone Engineering Inc. seeks an experienced Sr. Civil/Structural Designer to join our Nassau Bay team. You’ll ensure constructability and maintainability of complex designs, perform site surveys, and collaborate with engineering leads to deliver project milestones.

The role requires AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, field walk-downs, and strong written and verbal communication. A High School Diploma or GED and US work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5–15 years of working experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading and plan/profiles.
• Field/walk-down experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, creative, organized and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure constructability, operability, and maintainability of designs.
• Perform site surveys and walk-downs with/without client input.
• Collaborate with Lead Designers and Engineering teams to deliver project outputs.
• Develop design configurations for systems within project scope.
• Provide input into design development that is comprehensive and cost-effective.
• Prepare detailed design drawings per engineering requirements.
• Maintain a Job Data Book with project information.
• Review drawings for completeness and adherence to standards.
• Prepare final drawing plots and transmittals for project deliverables.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Assist with project audits as required.
