Keystone Engineering Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced Lead Civil/Structural Designer to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring constructible, operable, and cost-effective designs for complex projects.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years in civil/structural design, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and experience with Advanced Steel, with strong written and verbal communication skills. This is a full-time on-site position with occasional site visits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of professional experience in civil/structural design.
• Experience with Advanced Steel; AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self-motivated and organized.

Responsabilidades

• Assess constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
• Develop design configurations for different systems.
• Provide comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design.
• Prepare detailed design drawings as project deliverables.
• Maintain a Job Data Book with pertinent design information.
• Review drawings for completeness, quality, and standards adherence.
• Ensure all drawings are properly checked and approved.
• Prepare final drawing plots and copies for transmittal of deliverables.

Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Lead Civil/Structural Designer to join our Baton Rouge team.

Essential Functions:

• Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
• Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply.
• Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design.
• Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
• Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design.
• Review of drawings for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.
• Ensures all drawings have been properly checked.
• Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 10+ years of professional working experience
• Experience with Advanced Steel
• Strong Written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate

Experience Preferred:

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D - grading and plan/profiles
