Job summary

Zachry Group is looking for a highly skilled Senior Civil Structural Designer for their Downers Grove, IL office. This role demands expertise in steel and concrete structural design and AVEVA E3D proficiency. The ideal candidate will deliver quality engineering solutions while mentoring junior design teams and collaborating across various disciplines.

Responsibilities include creating detailed structural designs, ensuring adherence to QA standards, and providing field support. A salary range of $131,900 to $188,830 is offered, with participation in the Total Employee Rewards Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of engineering drafting/design experience.
• Strong understanding of ACI, AISC, OSHA, and IBC codes.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce complex structural drawings and models aligned with client needs.
• Train and mentor design teams in developing structural drawings and 3D models.
• Conduct internal and external 3D model reviews and resolve design interferences.
