SLS Consultants in Oklahoma City seeks a Senior Construction Manager - Civil Site Development to oversee all civil site work for a large mission-critical campus project. You will serve as the owner's representative, directing mass grading, utilities, earthwork, and site infrastructure with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of civil site development leadership, experience managing large-scale earthwork, coordination with contractors and stakeholders,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience focused on civil site development.
• Proven track record in large-scale earthwork, grading, and pad preparation.
• Strong understanding of underground utility installation and site infrastructure.
• Experience serving as owner's representative, CM, GC, or heavy civil project leader.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the owner's representative for civil site development across the project campus.
• Oversee mass grading, earthwork, excavation, fill operations, and pad prep.
• Monitor underground utilities installation including storm drainage, sewer, water, electrical, and telecom.
• Lead coordination between civil contractors, utility providers, client teams, and design consultants.
• Review means and methods, sequencing, schedules, and recovery plans.
• Conduct field walks and site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Review change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project docs.
• Support budget management, forecasting, reporting, and schedule tracking.
