Job summary

Horrocks in St. George, UT seeks a Senior Site Development Engineer to lead complex civil design projects from concept through construction.

You will coordinate with clients, manage staff, and ensure quality deliverables across drainage, utilities, roadways, and permitting. The role requires a PE license (or ability to obtain within a year), 10–15 years of civil design experience, and mastery of AutoCAD/Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD, HEC-RAS, and SWMM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within one year.
• 10-15 years of progressive civil design experience focused on drainage, utility, roadway, and development design.
• Strong project management and delivery skills.
• Experience with private and municipal clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans and scopes of work.
• Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring.
• Prepare fee proposals and track and manage project budgets and invoicing.
• Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Produce project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reports.
• Administer quality assurance for project deliverables.
• Prepare construction cost models and engineer opinions of probable cost.
