Horrocks is seeking a Site Development Professional Engineer in Taylorsville, UT. You will lead site development projects from start to finish, overseeing planning, design, and collaboration with private and municipal clients.

The role requires PE licensure, 4–8 years of civil design experience, and strong project management, communication, and team leadership skills. Competitive salary and robust benefits accompany this position.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure.
• 4 to 8 years of progressive experience with emphasis in civil design including drainage, utility, roadway, and development design.
• Self-directed with strong project management and delivery skills.
• Ability to supervise staff, bid projects, and develop project execution plans and deliverables.
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
• Technical expertise with team building, writing, proposal development, cost estimating, and program execution.
• Ability to work as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Develop project work plans and scopes of work.
• Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring.
• Prepare fee proposals and track budgets and invoicing.
• Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Produce deliverables including memoranda, plans, specs, and reports.
• Administer quality assurance for deliverables.
• Prepare calculations, specs, and permitting for various jurisdictions.
• Cost modeling and OPCC for development stages from due diligence to bidding.
• Manage and design development and redevelopment projects for private clients.
• Partner with practice leaders on multi-disciplinary pursuits.
• Maintain communications with clients and project teams.
• Conduct technical reporting and presentations.
• Oversee construction observation and coordination with contractors.
• Ensure staff resources are productive and aligned with needs.
