Job summary

The STI Group in Beaumont, Texas is seeking full-time quality control inspectors to join our team. Candidates should have five years of quality inspection experience and a minimum of five years in the civil department as craftsmen or supervisors.

The role requires strong reading of civil drawings, attention to detail and compliance with ACI standards. Responsibilities include inspecting concrete, grout and epoxy placements, developing and following ITPS, and ensuring deliverables meet project

Qualifications

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• 5+ years in Civil department experience.
• Detail oriented and accurate.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and plans.
• Familiarity with ACI standards.
• Understand inspections before placing concrete, grout and epoxy for heavy construction.
• Understand concrete mix designs and submission/approval processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Blue Beam.
• Experience developing and following inspection and test plans (ITPs).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assure quality control for concrete, grout and epoxy in heavy construction projects.
• Review civil drawings and plans to verify conformance with specifications.
• Support development and execution of ITPs and inspection procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ACI standards and project requirements.
