Job summary

Advatix Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Engineer Manager to lead land development projects in the San Diego area. The role focuses on design, project delivery, client coordination, and regulatory compliance, with on-site leadership of engineering teams.

Requires PE license, 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience, and advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; this is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

BSCE required; PE license mandatory.
Minimum 5 years civil engineering experience.
Minimum 3 years leadership, PM, or supervisory experience.
Strong background in land development and site design.
Experience in private civil engineering or consulting.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, scopes, contracts, and teams.
Knowledge of CA civil engineering standards and permitting.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead civil engineering and land development projects from planning through construction.
Provide technical direction and ensure design quality and compliance.
Oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate with clients, regulators, and consultants to obtain approvals.
Mentor and supervise engineering staff and designers.
Prepare and review construction documents and plans.
