Job summary

Vierbicher in Wisconsin is seeking a Project Engineer 3 to lead scoping, planning, and design oversight for site and infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulators to align scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities include final design evaluations, QC oversight, and producing contracts and specs. A BS in Civil Engineering and 4+ years of experience are required; WI PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of civil engineering experience is preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in Wisconsin is preferred.
• Experience reviewing consultant design work and leading design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scope of services and define client/project objectives.
• Establish and manage design schedules with Project Managers.
• Provide technical review and final recommendations on consultant design work.
• Perform final engineering design evaluations for site and infrastructure plans (grading, utilities, stormwater).
• Provide quality control oversight and mentorship to less experienced staff.
• Verify quantity take-offs and final cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, and internal policies.
• Develop project specifications and technical requirements.
