Orion Placement in Mobile, Alabama seeks a skilled civil litigation attorney to join a growth-focused firm. You will handle sophisticated matters with autonomy, primarily on-site with hybrid flexibility for an experienced candidate.

Responsibilities include managing cases from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court, mediations, and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Alabama Bar license or eligibility for admission.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience handling cases from start to finish.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Courtroom, mediation, and negotiation experience.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Prior law firm, in-house, or solo practice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage sophisticated civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal analysis.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and negotiations.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to a supportive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional client service while balancing multiple active matters.
