KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking a California-licensed attorney to join its civil litigation and creditors' rights practice. The role blends courtroom representation with document review, signing, case oversight, and settlement negotiations.

The ideal candidate will appear in court, handle a high volume of filings, and independently manage litigation with the support of an established legal team. Competitive compensation and autonomy are offered.

Qualifications

• Active California law license.
• 5–7 years of civil litigation experience, including collections or creditors' rights.
• Experience appearing in court and handling hearings independently.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, court filings, and legal documentation.
• Ability to review and sign a high volume of legal documents accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze cases and negotiate settlements.
• Experience coaching, training, or mentoring colleagues or support staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, legal research, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings related to civil litigation and collection matters.
• Review, approve, and sign a high volume of legal pleadings and filings.
• Manage litigation matters and ensure compliance with court rules.
• Review discovery materials and determine appropriate legal actions.
• Negotiate settlements with various parties.
• Prepare and file legal documents and oversee timely filings.
• Communicate case progress with the Managing Attorney, clients, and staff.
• Conduct legal research and evaluate potential outcomes using statutes and precedents.
• Coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Assist with client audits and compliance requirements.
• Stay informed of changes in debt collection and related laws.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues and staff.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines.
